Clare Daunter
Physiotherapist

Clare is a Senior Physiotherapist offering hands on Physiotherapy & Clinical Pilates to patients who require Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy & Post-Operative Orthopaedic Rehabilitation.

Clare enjoys an active lifestyle around her 2 children along with her passion for fitness & understands the mental & physical frustration when an injury stops people functioning at their best. She understands that injuries can come in all shapes & sizes, whether it be as a result of training or a trauma. With a hands on assessment, Clare uses her expertise to diagnose & design a treatment plan to ensure the most effective rehabilitation of both the injury and the source. Clare uses her Pilates certification to enhance her treatment & believes that functional core strength & stability is paramount to minimise muscle imbalances & compensations, which can lead to injuries.

Clare has worked and travelled with Rugby and sports teams over the years since she qualified in 2006 including an epic trip with a team of cyclists who took part in Race Across AMerica (RAAM). This has sparked a special interest in acute & chronic sports injuries and Orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation. Clare relishes the challenge of working with athletes from amateur through to elite level, not only for the time constraints it poses to rehab but also the advanced level of specific sports rehabilitation required to be at the peak of their performance.

Clare is a fully qualified Physiotherapist registered with the HCPC & Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Clare is a certified APPI Pilates instructor for both Matwork & Reformer Pilates. Clare regularly updates her CPD through physio courses & enjoys staying up to date with the latest research to enhance her clinical skills.
