Having always enjoyed sport & exercise I know how frustrating it can be when an injury or niggle stops us exercising at our best. Sports injuries can come in all shapes & sizes & no two injuries are the same. Whether it be as a result of training or a trauma, it is important to nip it in the bud. It is paramount you get a thorough assessment of the injury & a treatment program tailored specific to you, to enhance your recovery. Understanding your injury is key & discussing how it might have occurred. My Pilates training facilitates correcting these compensations & I feel that good core strength & stability is paramount to minimise muscle imbalances, which can lead to injuries.

I work regularly in clinic with Orthopaedic Consultants & have worked with Rugby & sports teams for the last 7 years. This has led to a special interest in acute & chronic sports injuries and Orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation. It has emphasised the importance of a fast accurate diagnosis to ensure swift effective rehab. I have worked & travelled with teams, most recently with a team of cyclists who took part in Race Across AMerica (RAAM). I relish the challenge of working with athletes from amateur right through to elite level, not only for the time constraints it poses to rehab but also the advanced level of specific sports rehabilitation.
